A handicap doesn't have to be an obstacle
More than 1.5 billion people worldwide suffer from impaired hearing and are unfortunately still at a disadvantage in everyday life as a result. They often have to make concessions when it comes to choosing a seat at large events as well as in everyday communication.
With modern hearing assistance technology, these people can finally participate fully in social life and regain a great deal of their quality of life. Whether at school or university, at cultural events or at conferences, innovative audio systems enable event organisers to create a personalised listening experience for all listeners. This means that information can be communicated to all participants in the dialogue with the best possible intelligibility and at the optimum volume, making it accessible to everyone - for true inclusion in our society.
With its systems for wireless audio transmission, Sennheiser enables interference-free and secure hearing support and effective use for theatres, guided tours, institutions or conferences.
The EK 2020-D-II chin bar holder combines a receiver and headphones for a completely wireless audio experience. Thanks to its powerful battery, it can be worn all day long. This audio solution from Sennheiser also saves energy by automatically switching on when you put it on. The chin strap holder is intuitive to use and provides information on all important parameters such as volume, battery status, reception quality and reception channel via an LCD display.

Sennheiser's latest innovation in hearing assistance, the MobileConnect, is particularly user-friendly, both in its installation and in its use. Using the latest BYOD technology, the listener's smartphone can be used as a receiver of audio signals to optimally play back live content anywhere in the room - on any preferred hearing aid.
The centrepiece of MobileConnect is the MobileConnect Station, which records the audio signal and transmits it to up to 100 smartphones via the existing Wi-Fi access points. Using the MobileConnect app, they can easily access the audio stream and play it back at the optimum volume for their individual needs via their favourite hearing aid, such as an induction neckloop or over-ear headphones. If several MobileConnect stations are used, they can be managed via the MobileConnect Manager.
No structural changes need to be made to the respective premises in order to set up the system. The MobileConnect station simply transmits the audio via Wi-Fi. To use MobileConnect, participants only need to install the MobileConnect app on their smartphone and can then access the transmitted audio content in perfect intelligibility.
